EL420 motor lock for narrow-profile push-and-pull doors
EL420 retracts its deadbolt by motor and releases the double-action latch for push-and-pull access outside. The inside handle opens mechanically. It is designed for DIN narrow-profile doors with frequent traffic or door-operator integration.

Application
For frequent-use narrow-profile entrances in hospitals, schools and offices. Secure mode deadlocks on closing; configure day mode and door-status monitoring around the site's operating routine.
Selection limits
A lock case alone is not a complete automatic-door solution. Check EA420, the supply, cables, strike plate, pulls and operator release timing. Fire or escape use requires the applicable doorset and hardware documentation.
How to choose
Unlike the electrically engaged handle of EL460, EL420 retracts its bolt by motor for pull-handle operation. When comparing EL520, distinguish narrow profiles from solid doors before checking dimensions and accessories.
