EL561 electric lock with both handles controlled
EL561 is designed for solid wooden and metal doors, with both handles engaged by an electrical signal. The key difference from EL560 is how opening is controlled, not the appearance.

Where it fits
Suitable for medium-traffic internal openings requiring control in both directions. It locks automatically when the door closes and supports mechanical cylinder override.
Selection limits
Not suitable for certified exit doors or door automatics. Do not substitute EL561 for EL560 where mechanical opening by the inside handle is required.
How to choose
First decide whether both directions require authorisation or only entry is controlled with mechanical exit. This determines whether EL561 is appropriate.
