Product features
- In deadlocking mode, turning the outside key 180° or inside thumbturn 90° activates the handles.
- The upper snib position requires key/thumbturn activation; the lower position permits normal handle operation.
- A set screw below the snib can secure it in deadlocking mode.
- Compatible striker plates: 4690, 4691, LP711, LP714, LP721, and LP731.

Check door thickness, handing, backset, faceplate and strike position before choosing the cylinder and handles. Similar numbers do not establish identical latch operation; verify exit or fire-door applications as a complete doorset.
