TQ312T CLIQ flush-mounted outdoor reader
TQ312T is a PROTEC2 CLIQ flush-mounted outdoor reader, not a lock case. It checks the inserted key's authorisation and switches a potential-free contact to provide an authorised switching signal for compatible locks, gates and other equipment.

Application
For key-authorised operation of electric strikes, motor locks and gates. Access rights are managed in CLIQ Web Manager or CLIQ Local Manager; the reader verifies keys offline. The reader and key provide their respective status indications.
Selection limits
The output is a rated potential-free contact, not a power supply for the lock. The separate relay unit has a maximum distance of 2 m. Check control interfaces, the separate power supply and weather-resistant installation conditions.
How to choose
Consider a CLIQ reader when existing powered equipment needs key-authorised switching. Select a suitable lock separately when the requirement is physical locking of a door. These are different functions, not interchangeable products.
