PL342B SENTRY padlock with protective shoulders
PL342B has raised shoulders that reduce exposed space around its shackle. The listed shackle is 10 mm in diameter and 25 mm high. It uses the ABLOY SENTRY platform for applications such as gates, warehouses and trucks.

Application
For openings where reduced shackle exposure is desired and the hasp can accommodate the shoulder design. Measure both the hole and side clearance, including the space needed to remove the unlocked padlock.
Selection limits
Shoulders may restrict access around thick hasps or chains, so a suitable hole diameter alone is insufficient. No claim of being impossible to defeat is made; protection depends on the lock and fitting together.
How to choose
PL340B's open shackle has more height options. PL342B centres on protective shoulders and a 25 mm height. A shared 10 mm diameter does not establish interchangeability.
